Phil, the newly appointed General Manager, has made it his mission to make certain each and every guest is relaxed and feels like the most important person at DANTE. Phil is already confident of the impeccable service of his hand-picked staff and, of course, the mastery of Chef Dante’s incredible food. Phil knows Cleveland and understands the evolution of Cleveland restaurants – primarily, what people here want. He was born and raised here and has worked every restaurant position at the most notable northeast Ohio restaurants. Phil knows what it takes to run a successful restaurant. Phil first worked with Chef Dante Boccuzzi two years ago where there was an immediate chemistry and shared philosophy with Chef Boccuzzi – outstanding food in a non-pretentious, relaxed atmosphere. JUSTIN OFANDISKY | SOUS CHEF
A native Clevelander, Sous Chef Justin Ofandiski has more than a decade experience in creating amazing dishes. In his early training, Chef Justin worked at Cafe Atlantico under the direction of culinary innovator José Andres. Locally, Justin spent many years at some of the areas finest country club restaurants, including Grey Hawk Golf Club in LaGrange and Red Tail in Avon. His love for working with Dante Boccuzzi centers around the freedom to be creative. Dante's passion has us ready for anything. "Under Dante's direction we use the most unique ingredients to create magic" says Chef Ofandiski. Besides working at DANTE in Tremont Chef Ofandiski is utilizing his talents at Lorain County JVS where he teaches. He is also a senior member of the American Culinary Federation, Akron/Canton chapter.
